25th Annual Farm Toy Show & Auction

On Sat. Nov. 26th we hosted our 25th annual farm toy show & auction at Garner's Auction Center in Carrollton, Ohio. With 21 dealers (60 tables) there were plenty of new & old toys to see. Collectors came from New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia , and all around Ohio. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed door prize drawing every hour. R&K Kitchen provided the lunch stand. After the show, the auction began, featuring limited edition, antique, and discontinued toy tractors, trucks, pedal tractors and more. Larry Garner of Garner Auctioneers & Real Estate and his staff auctioned 520 lots. It was an awesome night for toy tractors. Check out more pictures on our facebook page.  Thanks to our vendors, visitors, and everyone who helped make this event a sucess.

2011 H.P.O.C.A  Summer Show

This year's National Oliver collector's show was held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds and was hosted by the Buckeye Olivers Collector's Club. We were set up under the grandstands and had a good view of the show grounds. These guys put on a great show! In spite of the hundred degree temperatures and thunder storm, people from all over the country came to show off their tractors or just come and enjoy the displays and events.  We saw an antique tractor pull and a radio controlled mini tractor pull. You could purchase all kinds of Oliver related memorabilia and products from the many vendors that were set up all around the show. There were parts dealers. On Saturday, Oliver tractors and implements were auctioned off. A must see, was the antique tractor parade. What a wonderful  variety of different Oliver, Minniappolis Moline, and Avery tractors! We are looking forward to next year's show. The hosts for the 2012 Hart-Parr Oliver Collectors Association National Summer Show will be the Kalamazoo Valley Antique Engine & Machinery Club and will be held in Hickory Corners, Michigan on June 22nd to the 24th. You can visit their website @ www.kalvalleyclub.org.

FARM SCIENCE REVIEW 2010

Had a great week at the 2010 Farm Science Review in London Ohio. The booth was really busy and we got to see lots of old friends and make a lot of new ones. This is our forth year setting up at this event. The Farm Science Review is one of the largest farm industry trade shows that we attend. The displays are awsome and they have field demonstrations as well.  If you ever get a chance to go to it, I highly recomend it. You will amazed. To see more pictures of our trip to the Farm Science Review, look for us on Facebook.

Horse Lovers Having Fun.

Kids from Cleveland  to Columbus came to Bud's Farm Toy's ,Breyer Fun Day event.  They enjoyed model painting, crafts, & horse games.  Some tried their hand at roping a stick pony, while others created western vests from paper & sequins.  Daniel Kohler from Bowerston, Ohio, displayed part of her impressive Breyer model collection. There were mini horse races and other fun activities.  Guests participated in coloring contests and entered to win a gift basket filled with Breyer toys.  Both the children and their families had a good time. "We would like to thank everyone who came to our Breyer event and thanks to all the great helpers who made it a fun day for all."
